A Walk In The Clouds

A Walk In The Clouds

Have you ever heard the expression "Get your head out of the clouds."? I believe that just about everyone with sight has, at one time or another, sat and looked at the drifting clouds and imagined the different shapes of the clouds to be familiar and comfortable things. Or, think how nice it would be to just sit on a cloud and float around the world without a care.

While we are letting our mind wander around the world of clouds we cease to think and worry about the things in our life, which are not perfect. You may think these moments are just fleeting flights of fancy.

But, if you are a Christian and have accepted Jesus as your Lord, these moments of peace are yours every day and every hour. I don't mean for you to ignore your life and the work you need to do. I mean you should trust in God enough to not worry about things in your life.

We should do as God wanted the Children of Israel to do. Put our complete faith in Him to guide and provide us with all of our needs. Our Father is depicted as a Pillar of Clouds, Ex 13:21, while leading the Children of Israel out of Egypt.Just let the Pillar of Clouds, God, lead and protect you from the evils of this world.

You see, a Christian should always walk with their head in the clouds. We should not worry about the things of this earth. God will always provide and will either be beside us or carrying us through all of our trials if we but let him.

Ex 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: (KJV)
